CEVAPCICI RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Cevapcici. It is a quick and easy
recipe to make. I find
the Cevapcici are wonderful done small and put on a tooth
pick for a party. You can also make them a bit bigger and
cover them in sauteed onion. The Cevapcici are also great
cut up with cheese and have them with cracker biscuits.
Cevapcici Ingredients
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 lb ground lamb
1 egg white beaten
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tsp cayenne pepper
4 garlic cloves finely chopped
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Cevapcici Method
You may
wish to combine the seasonings or grind them together before
adding them to the meat. Mix all the ingredients altogether
then shape into thumb sized sausages. Grill on open grill
until done. Serve with pita bread or hard rolls and onions
sauteed. Serve the Cevapcici for an appetizer on a
toothpick.
