ARTICHOKES BREADCRUMBS THYME AND LEMON RECIPE
It took me a long time to
like artichokes, but this recipe Artichokes, Breadcrumbs,
Thyme and Lemon has become one of my favourite ways of doing
artichokes. When you mix Artichokes, Breadcrumbs, Thyme and
Lemon together it has a most wonderful taste and the aroma
is wonderful. Cook a good piece of steak and at the side put
the Artichokes, Breadcrumbs, Thyme and Lemon and sit down
with a lovely glass of wine and enjoy your meal.
Artichokes Breadcrumbs Thyme and Lemon Ingredients
285ml double cream
1 good handful of fresh Thyme leaves picked and chopped
1kg artichokes peeled and sliced as thick as a pencil
2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
2 good handfuls of fresh breadcrumbs
3 handfuls of grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper
juice of 1 lemon
olive oil
Artichokes Breadcrumbs Thyme and Lemon Method
Preheat your oven to 220°
degrees. Put in a large bowl the cream, lemon juice, garlic,
half the thyme and most of the parmesan and combine together
then season well to taste. Add in the sliced artichokes and
mix well then place everything in an ovenproof baking dish.
Mix the breadcrumbs with the rest of the thyme and parmesan
and some salt and pepper. Sprinkle all the flavoured
breadcrumbs over the artichokes and drizzle with a little
olive oil. Bake Artichokes Breadcrumbs Thyme and Lemon in
the oven for around 30 minutes until the artichokes are
tender and the breadcrumbs golden. Serve with a lovely piece
of steak.
