AUSTRALIAN GRILLED FISH RECIPE
I could eat fish every day if
I could get fresh fish. The Australian Grilled Fish is one
of my favourites as my husband and I go camping a lot and do
a lot of fishing. The other thing I really enjoy with my
Australian Grilled Fish is lemon. My husband and I like
different things with our Australian Grilled Fish. My
husband likes it with salad and chips and I like it with
rice and salad or just vegetables.
Australian Grilled Fish Ingredients
4 fish steaks
black pepper
1/4 cup Lime juice
2 Tbs Vegetable oil
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp fresh ginger root grated
Australian Grilled Fish Method
For the steaks they should be
8 ounces and 1 inch thick each. Use Halibut or Salmon
steaks. Combine in a bowl the lime juice, 1 tablespoon oil,
ginger, cayenne pepper and enough freshly ground black
pepper to suit your taste. Marinade the Australian Grilled
Fish in this mixture for 45 minutes. While the fish is in
the marinade turn it 2 to 3 times. Have the grill prepared
with white coals and brush the cooking grill with the
remaining one tablespoon oil. Now place the fish on the
grill brushing several times when cooking with the marinade
until cooked through. Turn the Australian Grilled Fish over
after 4 to 5 minutes. Your cooking time will depend on the
heat in your coals and your grill. Serve the Australian
Grilled Fish with salad or vegetables.
Enjoy your freshly made
Australian Grilled Fish!
