BACON AND CORN CASSEROLE RECIPE

Bacon
And Corn Casserole Ingredients
10 strips bacon
2 Tbs flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 Tbs fresh parsley chopped
1 Tbs fresh chives chopped
2 cups fresh or frozen whole kernel corn

And Corn Casserole Method
Cook
bacon until crisp in a large skillet and drain reserving 2
tablespoons of drippings. Next thing is to crumble the bacon
and set aside. Saute onion in drippings until tender and
then add the flour, garlic, salt and pepper and cook and
stir until bubbly then cook and stir 1 minute more. Take
this from the heat and stir in the sour cream until smooth
and then add the corn, parsley, and half of the bacon and
mix well. Pour this mixture into a 1 quart baking dish and
sprinkle with the remaining bacon. Put this Bacon And Corn
Casserole uncovered into a 350 degree oven and bake for 20
minutes or until heated through. Take out of the oven and
sprinkle with chives.
