BARLEY GARDEN SOUP RECIPE

Barley Garden Soup is a very nourishing and an extremely
tasty soup recipe. The mixture of barley and vegetables

3/4 cup barley
2 cups carrot juice
1 cup distilled water
1/2 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped scallions
1 cup grated yellow squash
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley

Garden Soup Method
This is
the hardest part of the soup to do soak barley overnight in
distilled water, is that really hard. The next day rinse in
hot water and drain well. Take a large saucepan and combine
all the ingredients into it and let it come to the boil
stirring occasionally so it doesn't stick to the botton as
barley sometimes can and then turn the soup down till it is
simmering and let it cook for about 1 hour stirring
occasionally. Serve the Barley Garden Soup on a winters
night with lovely crusty warm bread rolls.
