BIRD OF PARADISE RECIPE
Bird Of Paradise that sounds
as lovely as the Bird Of Paradise flower but I asure you
this recipe tastes absolutely wonderful. Could you imagine
the flavours of papaya and pineapple together with chicken
in the Bird Of Paradise. This recipe is a must for you to
try.
Bird Of
Paradise Ingredients
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbs butter
3 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs cornstarch
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 1/2 cups sliced celery
1/2 cup sliced green onion
2 large clove garlic pressed
1 papaya peeled and sliced
2 whole chicken breasts split
1 red bell pepper, seeded, chunked
20 oz can sliced pineapple in syrup
2 Tbs finely chopped crystallized ginger
Bird Of
Paradise Method
The first thing to do is
drain the pineapple and reserve the syrup. Put the butter
into a frying pan and cook the chicken till it is brown and
then drain. Combine syrup with sherry, soy sauce, garlic and
ginger. Pour over the chicken and cover and simmer 30
minutes turning chicken once. Remove the chicken and add the
pineapple, bell pepper, celery, green onion and papaya to
the frying pan. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/2 cup water and
stir into the mixture in the frying pan and bring it to the
boil. When thickened spoon over the chicken mixture. Serve
Bird Of Paradise with rice or noodles.
