BRAISED BEEF RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Braised Beef. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make.
Braised Beef is really good served with mashed potatoes.
When you cook steak this way it is so tender it falls apart
and the flavours stay in and just taste so good.

Beef Ingredients
3 sliced carrots
1 1/2 Tbs butter
1 chopped onion
1 tsp dried herbs
1/4 cup plain flour
2 Tbs tomato paste
1 sliced celery stick
2 cups hot beef stock
250g button mushrooms
750g braising steak cubed
Braised
Beef Method
In a
large microwave dish place the onions, carrots and celery
with 2 tablespoons stock then cover and cook on high for 6
minutes. Add the meat and butter and stir then cover and
cook on high for 4 minutes then add the flour, mushrooms,
herbs, tomato paste and beef stock and stir then cover and
cook on high for 7 minutes. Then cook the Braised Beef for a
further 40 minutes on low. Stir the Braised Beef several
times during the cooking period. Let the Braised Beef stand
covered for 10 minutes and then garnish with parsley and
serve with mashed potatoes.
