BROCCOLI CAULIFLOWER CASSEROLE RECIPE

Cauliflower Casserole Ingredients
1 tsp salt
2 Tbs flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/4 cups milk
2 Tbs margarine
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 large onion chopped
2 Tbs margarine melted
3/4 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 tsp dried basil crushed
3 Tbs grated parmesan cheese
16 oz package frozen broccoli cuts
16 oz package frozen cauliflower florets
2 x 3 oz packages cream cheese with chives cut up

Cauliflower Casserole Method
First thing to do is preheat
oven to 350 degrees. Cook broccoli and cauliflower according
to package directions and drain well then place in a large
saucepan and set aside. Cook onion in the 2 tablespoons
margarine until tender but not brown. Stir in flour, salt,
garlic powder, basil and pepper and then add milk. Cook and
stir until thickened and bubbly and then add cream cheese
and keep stirring until cheese melts. Stir into vegetable
mixture and then pour into 2 quart casserole. Toss together
bread crumbs, cheese and 2 tablespoons melted margarine and
sprinkle over vegetable mixture. Bake the Broccoli
Cauliflower Casserole uncovered for 30 minutes or until
heated through.
