BUTTERY CHICKEN CASSEROLE RECIPE
Buttery Chicken Casserole is
a great nourishing meal. The flavours of the chicken,
chicken soup, celery soup, sour cream and the buttery
crackers makes the taste sensational. If you want this
casserole to go further for a bigger family cook some
vegetables to go with it or have a salad with it. When there
is just my husband and me I just steam potatoes and peas
with it.

Chicken Casserole Ingredients
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 quart water
3 lb broiler chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup undiluted
1 can cream of celery soup undiluted
8 oz sour cream
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup butter melted
1/2 x 16 oz package oval shaped buttery crackers crushed 2

Chicken Casserole Method
Combine salt, pepper, water
and chicken in a large dutch oven and bring to a boil. Cover
and reduce heat and simmer 1 hour or until tender. Take the
chicken out and cool slightly. Skin and bone chicken and cut
chicken into bite size pieces. Combine chicken, cream of
chicken soup, celery soup,sour cream and pepper, stirring
well. Place half of crushed crackers in a lightly greased 11
x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish and spoon chicken mixture over
crackers. Top with remaining crackers and drizzle with
butter. Bake the Buttery Chicken Casserole at 325 degrees
for 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
