CABBAGE CASSEROLE RECIPE
This recipe

Cabbage Casserole is a great nourishing meal. The flavours
of the cabbage, beef, rice, tomato sauce and the onion
powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper makes the taste
sensational.

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 large head cabbage
2 cups cooked instant rice
2 x 26 oz jars tomato sauce

Casserole Method
Take the head of cabbage and
chop it into bite size chunks. In a large frying pan add
enough butter to cover the bottom put the chopped cabbage
into it and fry the cabbage until it is tender but not too
mushy. When done put in a large bowl and hold for later in
the recipe. Using the same frying pan add the ground beef
and fry until cooked. In a saucepan cook the rice. Mix meat
and rice together adding salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic
powder and some of the tomato sauce to moisten the mixture.
Cover the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with about 1/4
inch tomato sauce then layer cabbage, meat and rice mix and
tomato sauce until pan's full. Bake the Cabbage Casserole at
350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
