CAJUN STYLE PASTA RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Cajun Style Pasta. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make.
This Cajun Style Pasta is one of the most tasty and
nourishing pasta recipes I have tasted. The flavours of
pasta, shrimp, chicken, tomato, peas, sherry and cheese is
really exceptional.
Cajun
Style Pasta Ingredients
2 cups milk
1 tsp butter
2 Tbs sherry
12 oz linguine
1/4 tsp cayenne
1/2 cup frozen peas
2 garlic cloves minced
2 1/2 Tbs all purpose flour
salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 lb chicken breast meat diced
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 plum tomatoes seeded and chopped
12 medium size shrimp peeled and deveined

Style Pasta Method
Prepare the linguine
according to package directions. Drain and keep warm until
ready to serve. Melt the butter in the center of a large non
stick skillet over medium high heat. Add the garlic and cook
for 1 minute then add the shrimps and chicken. Pan fry until
the chicken is cooked through. In a bowl whisk the flour,
milk, sherry and parmesan cheese together. Pour into the
skillet and bring to a boil while stirring then reduce heat
to medium and continue to cook for about 5 minutes until the
mixture has thickened stirring occasionally. Add the cayenne
and fold in the tomatoes and peas and cook until heated
through. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Arrange the
linguine on individual plates and spoon the sauce over the
top. Garnish the Cajun Style Pasta with chopped fresh
parsley.
