CALCUTTA CURRY RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Calcutta Curry. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make.
Calcutta Curry is a great meal to have on a cold winters
night. You don't have to use round steak you could use other
beef steak if you prefer in this beef recipe.

Curry Ingredients
1/2 tsp salt
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup stock
1/4 cup coconut
2 medium onions
1 sprig of parsley
2 dsp curry powder
1 1/2 lb round steak
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 peeled green apple
2 Tbs seasoned flour
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sliced tomatoes

Curry Method
In a
heavy pan put the melted butter then peel and chop the
onions and add to the pan and cook till brown. Remove the
onions from the pan and set aside. Toss the meat in the
seasoned flour and brown it in the same pan then lower the
heat and add the curry powder, chilli powder, crushed
garlic, parsley, sliced apple, coconut and salt. Stir well
then add the tomatoes, onion, stock and browned meat. Cover
the Calcutta Curry with a tight fitting lid and simmer for
about 2 hours or until the meat is tender. Serve with
freshly boiled rice.
