CARAMEL CUSTARD PIE RECIPE
Caramel Custard Pie is a very
tasty pie. It is easy to make and the taste and texture is
fabulous. I used to love just the ordinary custard pie but
this Caramel Custard Pie is just something else. The caramel
taste is something every caramel lover will really enjoy.
The Caramel Custard Pie is wonderful topped with whipped
cream.
Caramel
Custard Pie Ingredients
water
2 eggs
2 Tbs butter
1 cup brown sugar
3 Tbs all purpose flour
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
14 1/2 oz can of evaporated milk

Custard Pie Method
In a large bowl add enough
water to the evaporated milk to make 2 cups and beat in the
eggs. In another large bowl combine the brown sugar and the
flour and cut in the butter until the mixture is like coarse
crumbs and then add the milk mixture to the brown sugar and
flour and beat until well blended. Pour into the pastry
shell and bake the Caramel Custard Pie at 400 degrees until
a knife inserted in the center comes out clean about 30
minutes. Allow to cool completely. Serve with whipped cream.
