CARROT RYE BREAD RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Carrot Rye Bread. It is a quick

Carrot Rye Bread is a wonderful tasting bread. The flavours
of the carrot pulp, caraway seeds and sesame oil makes the
taste of this bread recipe absolutely fantastic.

Rye Bread Ingredients
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbs corn oil
2 cups rye flour
2 Tbs sesame oil
2 cups carrot pulp
1/2 cup caraway seeds
3 1/2 cups boiling water
4 cups whole wheat flour

Rye Bread Method
Pan roast rye flour in 1
tablespoon sesame oil until darkened then mix flours
together with salt, caraway seeds and oil rubbing flour
between hands until oily. Add carrot pulp and mix well then
add boiling water using spoon to mix until dough begins to
form and then use your hands. Keep hands cool by dipping
them in a bowl of cool water. Mix until earlobe consistency
then knead until smooth. Shape into two small loaves and
place in oiled pans. Brush tops of loaves with oil and place
damp tea towel over top to prevent drying then let sit to
rise for 3 hours on counter top.
Bake the Carrot Rye Bread at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours on
middle shelf. Crust will be rough but inside tender and
bottom and sides will be dark brown. Cooked bread will sound
a hollow thump when tapped with finger. Wait until cool
before slicing.
