CHEESE AND OLIVE BREAD RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Cheese and Olive Bread. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make.
Cheese and Olive Bread is a wonderful tasting bread. The
flavours of the olives and cheese makes the taste of this
bread recipe absolutely fantastic.
Cheese
and Olive Bread Ingredients
675 g flour
25 g butter
1 tsp sugar
450 ml water
15 g dried yeast
100g cheddar cheese grated
14 black olives stoned and halved
Cheese
and Olive Bread Method
In a bowl
whisk sugar and yeast into 150 ml of the warm water and
leave until frothy. Sift the flour into a large bowl and rub
in the butter then make a well and pour the frothed yeast
into it adding the remaining water. Mix slowly using your
hands to make the dough then knead for 10 minutes. Place in
a bowl and cover and leave in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours
until it has doubled in size. Remove and add the olives and
cheese and knead for 5 minutes. Cover and leave to rise for
30 minutes. Preheat oven to 200 C or 400 F. Remove and shape
into a round and brush with water. Bake the Cheese and Olive
Bread for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
