CHOCOLATE MAYONNAISE CAKE RECIPE

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake Ingredients

1 cup water
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup castor sugar
2 cups self raising flour
200g bottled whole egg mayonnaise

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake Method

Grease a deep 20cm round cake tin and cover base with baking paper. In a medium bowl combine all ingredients with an electric mixer and beat on low speed until all ingredients are combined. Then beat on medium speed until mixture is smooth and changed in colour then pour mixture into prepared cake tin. Bake the Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake in moderately slow oven about 1 hour 10 minutes. Stand a few minutes before turning onto wire rack to cool. Cover with chocolate frosting and top with grated white and dark chocolate.
