CHOCOLATE MOUSSE WITH SESAME STRAPS RECIPE

Chocolate Mousse with Sesame Snaps Recipe, Chocolate Mousse With Sesame Snaps, Celebrity Recipes

This recipe will teach you how to make Chocolate Mousse with Sesame Snaps. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. Oh what a wonderful tasting dessert to make. The richness of the chocolate is a real choc-a-holics dream. Once you taste this you will be like my family and want it more and more. I sometimes make up two lots just so there is enough for the next day.

Chocolate Mousse with Sesame Snaps Ingredients

8 Tbs butter
2 large eggs
1 lb caster sugar
12 oz heavy cream
7 oz sesame seeds
1 Tbs scottish whiskey

2 Tbs scottish heather honey

2 1/2 oz butter cut into pieces

8 oz good quality dark chocolate broken up

Chocolate Mousse with Sesame Snaps Method

In a bowl over some gently simmering water slowly melt the chocolate and butter together then remove from the heat. In a separate bowl whip the cream to soft peaks. In a third bowl whisk the eggs and honey until light and fluffy then fold in the whisky, melted chocolate mixture and cream very gently so you don't lose too much air. Pour into small chilled 4 wine glasses or serving dishes and chill for at least an hour before serving.

Put your sugar and 8 tablespoons of water into a pan on medium heat. Use a spoon to stir together as it will become a syrup. Cook until light golden then add the sesame seeds and continue to cook until dark golden. Pour out the sesame seed caramel onto an oiled nonstick tray. Use a palette knife to push it out to about 1/2 inch thick even thinner if you can. Allow to cool for about 15 minutes and you will have one big sesame seed caramel biscuit. Break it up and put a piece with each mousse. Serve your Chocolate Mousse with Sesame Snaps with a little whipped cream and sesame snaps.

Enjoy your freshly made Chocolate Mousse with Sesame Snaps!
