COCONUT ICE CREAM RECIPE
This ice cream recipe for
Coconut Ice Cream is just so magnificent. The ingredients of
milk, eggs, corn syrup, butter, vanilla and coconut gives
this recipe an absolutely delicious taste. Anyone who likes
coconut will really enjoy this ice cream recipe.

Ice Cream Ingredients
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks
3 Tbs butter melted
few drops vanilla extract
1 cup shredded coconut
toasted coconut for garnish
1/4 cup light corn syrup warmed

Ice Cream Method
Pour milk into a heavy based
saucepan and bring to just below boiling point. Put egg
yolks with the syrup into a bowl and beat until thick then
beat in the hot milk and butter. Return the mixture to the
rinsed pan and cook over low heat until the custard thickens
stirring constantly making sure you don't let it boil.
Remove from the heat and add vanilla extract and coconut and
let cool making sure to stir it occasionally. Pour the
mixture into a container and cover and let it freeze until
firm beating twice at hourly intervals. About 40 minutes
before serving time transfer the ice cream to the
refrigerator. Serve each portion of the Coconut Ice Cream
decorated with a sprinkling of toasted coconut.
