DILL CASSEROLE BREAD RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Dill Casserole Bread. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make.
Dill Casserole Bread is called this as you cook it in a
casserole dish. The flavours of the cottage cheese, onion,
dillweed mixed with the other ingredients makes the taste
extremely delicious.

Casserole Bread Ingredients
1 large egg
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs minced onion
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup cottage cheese
1 1/2 tsp dried dillweed
1 package active dry yeast
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 Tbs unsalted butter softened

Casserole Bread Method
Stir yeast and 1 teaspoon of
the sugar into the warm water and let stand until foamy.
Warm the cottage cheese until lukewarm. Combine the flour,
remaining sugar, onion, dill, salt and baking soda in a
large bowl then add the egg, butter, cottage cheese and
yeast mixture. Stir to form a soft dough. Cover and let rise
in a warm spot until dough has doubled about 1 hour then
stir down dough. Transfer to a greased 1 1/2 to 2 quart
casserole. Cover and let rise again until doubled about 40
minutes. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake the Dill Casserole
Bread until it is well browned 45 minutes. Cool in the pan 5
minutes and then loosen from the sides of the casserole and
transfer onto a wire rack. Serve the Dill Casserole Bread
warm.
