EL DORADO CASSEROLE RECIPE

green chilies, corn chips and cheeses makes the taste

Dorado Casserole Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz sour cream
1 onion chopped
16 oz tomato sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup ripe olives sliced
3/4 cup chopped green chilies
7 oz tortilla corn chips crushed
8 oz monterey jack cheese shredded

Dorado Casserole Method
Cook beef in a frying pan
until browned then drain. Add onion, garlic powder, tomato
sauce and olives and cook over low heat until the onion is
clear. Combine sour cream, cottage cheese and chilies. Layer
half the chips, meat mixture, sour cream mixture and
monterey jack cheese in a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole.
Repeat this layering a second time. Bake the El Dorado
Casserole at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
