FRENCH BREAD PUDDING RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make French Bread Pudding. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make.
This is a pudding my whole family really enjoy. The texture
and flavour is quite unique and very tasty. I serve the
French Bread Pudding with a good dollop of whipped cream
very naughty but nice.

Bread Pudding Ingredients
4 oz suet
pinch salt
1 pint milk
1 egg beaten
8 oz sultanas
4 1/2 oz sugar
1 orange zested
4 1/2 oz plain flour
2 Tbs grated ginger
pinch grated nutmeg
4 1/2 oz bread crumbs
4 1/2 oz dried apricots chopped

Bread Pudding Method
The first thing to do is
grease a 3 pint pudding basin. In a large bowl add all the
ingredients together except the egg and milk. Beat the egg
and milk and add to the other ingredients and mix well. Put
the mixture in the basin and cover with tin foil or a cloth
then put the basin in a pan with water half way up the sides
of the basin. Bring the water to a boil and put on a tight
fitting lid and simmer for 3 hours remembering to top up
with boiling water now and then. Serve the French Bread
Pudding with whipped cream.
