FRIED PORK RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Fried Pork. It is a quick and
easy recipe to make. I was never a person who liked eating
pork as when I was young my parents were pig farmers and the
smell use to turn me off. One day my mother cooked up thinly
sliced pork shoulder covered in seasoned stuffing and fried
and ever since then it has been a favourite recipe in our
family. My children were never like me as they were not
brought up on a pig farm so they liked it right from the
beginning.
Fried
Pork Ingredients
1 onion
3 oz lard
12 oz potatoes boiled
1 Tbs chopped parsley
6 oz packet seasoned stuffing
1 lb shoulder pork sliced thinly
1 egg beaten and seasoned with salt and pepper
Fried
Pork Method
Cut the pork into portions and
flatten the slices with a rolling pin then dip each slice
into seasoned egg and toss in the dry stuffing. Add a little
bit of lard to a frying pan and fry the pork slices until
brown on both sides and tender then place in a hot serving
dish. Meanwhile dice the potatoes into 1/2 inch pieces then
peel and chop the onion finely. Melt the rest of the lard in
the frying pan and cook onions gently until just brown but
not crisp then stir in the potatoes and increase the heat
and cook stirring occasionally until potatoes are brown.
Decorate the Fried Pork with parsley and serve with the
potato and onion and add some greens.
