GINGER CURRANT BISCUITS RECIPE
This recipe

Ginger Currant Biscuits are a great blend of ginger and
currants. You will really enjoy this biscuit recipe as it
has magnificent flavours.

Currant Biscuits Ingredients
1 egg
1 Tbs milk
125g butter
extra sugar
1 egg white
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup currants
1 1/4 cups plain flour
1/2 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup finely chopped preserved ginger

Currant Biscuits Method
In a large bowl add the butter and beat until creamy then
add sugar and egg then beat until combined, do not over
cream then add ginger, currants, milk and half the sifted
flours and stir well add remaining sifted flours.
Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls then dip top in
lightly beaten egg white then in sugar. Place about 5cm
apart sugar side up on lightly greased oven trays. Bake the
Ginger Currant Biscuits in moderate oven for 20 minutes.
Cool on trays 5 minutes then place on wire rack to cool
completely.
