GREEN AND GRAIN MEATBALLS RECIPE
This recipe

Green and Grain Meatballs is an excellent way of doing a
beef recipe. The flavours are sensational. They are called
Green and Grain Meatballs because they have the parsley and
green onions plus the wheatgerm and mix them with the rest
of the ingredients to make the meatballs and then add the
sauce and you have a delicious meal.
Green
and Grain Meatballs Ingredients
MEATBALLS:
2 eggs
4 Tbs milk
1 cup wheat germ
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
2/3 cups minced fresh parsley
6 Tbs grated parmesan cheese
2/3 cups minced little green onions
SAUCE:
4 tsp cooking oil
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
2 medium onions chopped
1 cup chopped mushrooms
2 x 8 oz cans tomato sauce
A few dashes tabasco sauce.
2 cups chopped zucchini squash
Green
and Grai Meatballs Method
Prepare the meatballs by
thoroughly mixing all the ingredients together in a medium
bowl. shape into 48 meatballs. Place the meatballs in a
shallow baking pan greased with a little spray. Bake the
meatballs in a preheated 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile prepare the sauce in a skillet by sauteing the
zucchini, mushroom and onions in the oil for 5 minutes. Stir
in the tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, hot sauce then
heat the sauce thoroughly. To serve the Green and Grain
Meatballs pour the sauce over the meatballs and combine.
