HAWAIIAN TEA CAKE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Hawaiian Tea Cake. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. This cake recipe has a wonder
flavour of pineapple through it. I like serving this cake up
to my visitors with a dab of whipped cream. My children all
like this cake as the taste is really exceptional.

Tea Cake Ingredients
1 egg
pinch salt
2 Tbs milk
2 oz butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup canned well drained shredded pineapple
For The Topping:
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp butter melted

Tea Cake Method
In a large
bowl add butter and sugar then cream them gradually adding
the well beaten egg. Sift flour with salt and add the
creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Spread half the
mixture in a well greased 7 inch sandwich tin and cover with
the well drained pineapple. Top with the remainder of the
cake mixture. Bake the Hawaiian Tea Cake in a moderate oven
350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Turn out carefully onto a
wire cooler and while still hot brush with the melted butter
and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
