KUNG PAO BEEF RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Kung Pao Beef. It is a quick and

Kung Pao Beef is a wonderful recipe to make. The flavours of
the beef, chilies, onions, red bell peppers, garlic, ginger,
bamboo shoots and peanuts plus sauces are some of the
ingredients that goes into making this an exceptional
tasting dish. If you are vegetarian you can use tofu instead
of beef.
Kung Pao
Beef Ingredients
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cornstarch
1 red bell pepper
dash white pepper
2 hot green chilies
1 Tbs vegetable oil
2 Tbs vegetable oil
2 green onions with tops
2 Tbs brown bean sauce
2 Tbs vegetable oil extra
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
1 lb boneless sirloin beef steak
1 tsp finely chopped ginger root
1/2 cup skinless raw peanuts roasted
1/2 cup diced canned bamboo shoots

Beef Method
First thing to do is trim the
fat from the beef steak and cut it into 3/4 inch cubes. Toss
beef, 1 tablespoon oil, cornstarch, salt and white pepper in
a bowl then cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut
chilies into thin slices and remove seeds and membrane. Cut
onions diagonally into 1 inch pieces and then cut bell
pepper into 3/4 inch squares. Heat wok until very hot and
add 2 tablespoons oil and rotate wok to coat bottom then add
the beef and stir fry 2 minutes or until beef is brown then
remove it from the wok. Heat wok until very hot and add 2
tablespoons oil and rotate wok to coat bottom then add
chilies, garlic, ginger root, bean sauce and bamboo shoots
and stir fry 1 minute. Add beef, bell pepper and sugar and
stir fry 1 minute then stir in onions. Serve the Kung Pao
Beef sprinkled with the peanuts.
