MINTY MUSHY PEAS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Minty Mushy Peas. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make.
I like making little meat pies up for a week end meal when
the children are coming over and I always make a big bowl of
the Minty Mushy Peas up to go with them. The children love
sitting around our big dining table and eating the pies with
the peas and just relaxing and having a good family day
together.

Mushy Peas Ingredients
2 Tbs olive oil
salt and pepper
1 lb frozen peas
2 large knobs butter
1 handful fresh mint leaves
1 bunch spring onions chopped

Mushy Peas Method
This is a fantastic recipe
that is so quick and so simple and uses our reliable friends
the frozen peas which work really well here. Heat the oil in
a pan and add the chopped onions, mint and peas. Cover and
leave for a few minutes to steam then mash with a potato
masher until smooth. When there mashed add the butter and
season very carefully to taste. Serve the Minty Mushy Peas
with meat pies or whatever you prefer even a roast.
