PRAWNS WITH PEANUT SAUCE RECIPE
Prawns With Peanut Sauce are
great to have if your having a barbecue. The flavours of the
prawns, chinese pea pods and black olives brushed with the
peanut sauce and then grilled gives this recipe an
exceptional taste and layed on a bed of rice looks really
excellent. Chinese pea pods are also known as snow peas.
Prawns
With Peanut Sauce Ingredients
24 ripe black olives
24 Chinese pea pods
24 medium prawns shelled and deveined
SAUCE:
3 Tbs sugar
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbs vegetable oil
1/4 cup peanut butter
4 cloves garlic minced

Alternate prawns, pea pods
and olives on bamboo picks. Combine sherry, soy sauce,
peanut butter, sugar, oil and garlic and mix well. Grill
kebabs for 6 to 10 minutes or until prawns turn pink
brushing prawns frequently with peanut sauce. Arrange hot
boiled rice on a serving dish and place the Prawns With
Peanut Sauce on top.
