RUSSIAN TEA CAKES RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Russian Tea Cakes. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make.
Russian Tea Cakes are wonderful tasting cakes and very easy
to make. As long as I can remember there was always tea
cakes on the table for afternoon tea. There are all kinds of
tea cakes you can make but my favourite will always be my
mothers Russian Tea Cakes.

Tea Cakes Ingredients
1 cup butter
6 Tbs icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup icing sugar for decoration

Tea Cakes Method
First thing to do preheat oven
to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl cream butter and vanilla
until smooth. Combine the 6 tablespoons icing sugar and
flour and stir into the butter mixture until just blended
then mix in the chopped walnuts. Roll dough into 1 inch
balls and place them 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie
sheet then bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. When
cool roll the Russian Tea Cakes in remaining icing sugar.
