TANDOORI LAMB CHOPS RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Tandoori Lamb Chops. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make. This is the most fantastic
way of doing lamb chops. The flavour of the tandoori
ingredients which consist of yogurt, ginger, paprika,
garlic, bay leaves, peppercorns, tomato paste, lemon zest
and salt is what makes this recipe taste so really
sensational.

Lamb Chops Ingredients
6 lamb chops
8 oz long grain rice
1/4 tsp powdered saffron
For the Marinade:
1 tsp salt
4 bay leaves
6 peppercorns
3/4 Tbs paprika
1 Tbs tomato paste
grated zest 1 lemon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 clove crushed garlic
1/2 pint natural yogurt

Lamb Chops Method
Place the lamb chops in a
casserole dish. Put all the ingredients for the marinade in
a bowl and mix well then pour it over the lamb chops making
sure they are all covered with the marinade. Cover the dish
with the lid and leave for 6 hours. At the end of this time
remove bay leaves and peppercorns leave the lid off the
casserole and baste the lamb chops.
Bake in a moderately hot oven for about 1 1/4 hours basting
occasionally until all the marinade is used. 20 minutes
before the end of cooking time cook the rice in boiling
salted water with the saffron. Drain the rice and place on a
round serving dish then top with the chops and serve. You
can add some vegetables with the Tandoori Lamb Chops to if
desired.
