TOFU WITH CABBAGE SALAD RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Tofu With Cabbage Salad. It is a
quick and easy recipe to make. Tofu is really nice cooked
the right way. I sometimes use sesame seeds on my slices
when I cook my tofu. This recipe is really great with tofu,
lemon grass, chilies, red onion, bean sprouts, corianda
leaves and finely shredded chinese cabbage and then the
dressing poured over it gives the Tofu With Cabbage Salad an
excellent taste.
Tofu
With Cabbage Salad Ingredients
3 x 300g fresh firm tofu
1 Tbs finely chopped lemon grass
2 red chilies sliced thinly
1 red onion sliced thinly
1 cup bean sprouts
4 cups chinese cabbage finely shredded
3/4 cup coriander leaves
Sweet and Sour Dressing:
1/3 cup lime juice
2 tsp grated palm sugar
2 Tbs soy sauce

With Cabbage Salad Method
Cut each block of tofu into
four vertical slices and place in single layer on absorbent
paper on a tray and cover the tofu slices with absorbent
paper and let stand for 10 minutes. While you are waiting
for the tofu to stand for 10 minutes make the sweet and sour
dressing by adding all the ingredients in a jar with a lid
and shake till the sugar dissolves and then set aside. In a
large heated lightly oiled frying pan cook the tofu till
browned on both sides. Place the remaining ingredients in a
large bowl and toss to combine. Divide the salad among
serving dishes and top with the tofu. Serve the Tofu With
Cabbage Salad with the dressing.
