TUNA AND AVOCADO DIP RECIPE

Tuna and Avocado Dip.

This recipe will teach you how to make Tuna and Avocado Dip. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. I do not believe a party is good unless you have some dips and crackers as an appetizer. This is one of my husbands favourite dip as he really loves his tuna and avocado so I decided to combine them together as this dip. My daughter use to hate tuna but once she tasted the Tuna and Avocado Dip she really enjoyed it and she usually makes this dip to when she is having friends over.

Tuna and Avocado Dip Ingredients

1 avocado
a little mustard
1 tsp mayonnaise
4 oz drained tuna
1 tsp chives chopped
1 Tbs parsley chopped
salt and pepper to taste
a few drops worcestershire sauce

Tuna and Avocado Dip Method

In a large bowl place the tuna, parsley, chives, worcestershire sauce, mustard, mayonnaise, salt and pepper then halve the avocado and scoop out the flesh and add to the bowl with the other ingredients. Beat all the ingredients together till you have a lovely smooth consistency. Serve the Tuna and Avocado Dip with cracker biscuits, carrot sticks and pieces of cheese.

AVOCADO SPREAD RECIPE

Avocado Spread.

This recipe will teach you how to make Avocado Spread. It is a quick and easy recipe to make. This is a great tasting spread with the flavours of avocado, butter, cream, lemon juice and garlic salt. I have this made a day ahead when I am going to make an appetizer before my husbands and mine special dinner together. I just spread a few crackers with the spread and have a wonderful bottle of wine prepared. My husband actually has this spread on his bread instead of butter as the flavour is far better than the butter.

Avocado Spread Ingredients

1 avocado
1 Tbs cream
6 oz soft butter
a dash garlic salt
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp gelatine
1 Tbs boiling water

Avocado Spread Method

Take a large bowl and add the peeled avocado and mash it then add the softened butter and beat until thoroughly blended. Add the gelatine to the boiling water and stir until it has all dissolved then cool slightly and add the cream. Add this mixture to the avocado together with the lemon juice and garlic salt. Put the Avocado Spread into a small serving dish and run a knife over the top to smooth it then cover and chill thoroughly. Serve the Avocado Spread on cracker biscuits or put a little bit along celery sticks.
