VEAL ITALIENNE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Veal Italienne.
The Veal Italienne is a great microwave recipe. It is a very
easy recipe to make and it only takes a few minutes to cook.
The flavour of the veal, ham and onions gives you a
wonderful taste.
Veal
Italienne Ingredients
1 tsp oil
1 tsp salt
1 Tbs butter
375g tagliatelle
500g veal diced
250g ham diced
2 gherkins chopped
1 large onion thinly sliced
125g button mushrooms halved
thin strips of red capsicum to garnish
Sauce:
2 Tbs flour
2 Tbs butter
1 1/4 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste

Italienne Method
First thing to do is place
the pasta into a deep dish and add enough boiling water to
cover then add salt and 1 teaspoon of oil. Cook on high for
6 minutes. Cover and keep to one side. Place the veal, ham
and butter in a microwave dish. Cover and cook on high for 3
minutes stirring half way through then add the onion and
mushrooms. Cook on high for 2 minutes and set aside. For the
sauce melt the butter on high for 1 minute then stir in the
flour and microwave for a further minute. Add the milk and
microwave on high for further 3 minutes stirring every
minute then add the sauce mixture to the meat mixture and
then microwave on medium for 15 minutes. Stir in the chopped
gherkins and season to taste. Drain the pasta and arrange in
a serving dish and top with the meat sauce. Garnish the Veal
Italienne with capsicum strips and serve.
