VEGETABLE OMELETTE RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Vegetable Omelette. It is a quick
and easy recipe to make. This is a very healthy and
nourishing omelette to make. The mixture of mushrooms, mint,
onions, garlic, bamboo shoots, carrot, capsicum, bean
sprouts and the other ingredients that go into making this
omelette gives it an absolutely fantastic taste.
Vegetable Omelette Ingredients
8 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 Tbs peanut oil
1 cup bean sprouts
1 carrot sliced thinly
2 Tbs light soy sauce
1 Tbs mild chili sauce
2 cloves crushed garlic
5 green onions sliced thinly
1 Tbs freshly chopped mint
5 dried shiitake mushrooms
1 red capsicum sliced thinly
1 Tbs fresh coriander finely chopped
230g can sliced bamboo shoots drained
Vegetable Omelette Method
In a small heatproof bowl add
the mushrooms and cover with boiling water and let stand for
20 minutes then drain and cut the stems away and slice the
caps thinly. Whisk eggs, milk and mint in a medium bowl
until mixed together. Heat half the oil in a medium frying
pan and cook the onions, garlic and bamboo shoots stirring
until onion softens. Add carrot and capsicum and cook
stirring until carrot is just tender. Now add mushrooms,
sprouts, sauces and coriander and cook stirring until heated
through. Remove the mixture from pan and keep warm.
Heat the remaining oil to the frying pan and add a quarter
of the egg mixture and cook over medium heat tilting pan
until egg mixture is almost set. Place a quarter of the
vegetable mixture evenly over half of the omelette. Then
fold the omelette over to enclose filling and slide the
Vegetable Omelette onto a serving plate. Repeat with the
remaining egg and vegetable mixtures.
