WARM THAI BEEF SALAD RECIPE
This recipe
will teach you how to make Warm Thai Beef Salad. This is a
fantastic salad recipe to make as it has the touch of the
orient with it and a touch of the australian added to it.
Wonderful flavours of beef, lime zest, chili, shitake
mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, cucumber and onions are just
some of the ingredients that go into making the sensational
taste. Served on a bed of lettuce with tomatoes, cucumber
and orange slices and a spoon of boiled rice arranged around
it really makes it look enticing.

Thai Beef Salad Ingredients
1 Tbs ghee
1 lime juice
boiled rice
1 Tbs fish sauce
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp grated lime zest
250g shitake mushrooms
250g oyster mushrooms
1/2 continental cucumber sliced
4 spring onions thinly sliced
1 red chili, seeded and minced
fresh coriander leaves to garnish
500g lean beef steak trimmed of fat
1/4 cup chicken or vegetable stock
1 cup fresh sweet basil leaves chopped
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves chopped

Thai Beef Salad Method
In a
mortar put the chili, lime zest and pepper and grind it till
its a coarse paste and then rub the paste all over the meat.
Turn your grill on and place the meat under it for 2 minutes
each side until it is brown. Let the meat stand for 10
minutes and then slice it thin and leave it to one side.
Melt the ghee in a wok over medium heat and then add the
mushrooms and stir fry them for 6 minutes. Now add to this
the lime juice, stock, and fish sauce and bring it to the
boil and remove it from the heat. Mix together the meat,
cucumber, basil, mint and the mushroom mixture. Arrange your
lettuce and other salad and spoon the Warm Thai Beef Salad
onto the lettuce and add a spoonfull of boiled rice and
garnish with coriander.
