YOGURT CHICKEN PAPRIKA RECIPE

The Yoghurt Chicken Paprika is a wonderful blend of yoghurt, chicken and paprika. All my family enjoy the Yoghurt Chicken Paprika but some of them prefer it with rice instead of noodles and the older ones prefer dumplings. When you have the Yoghurt Chicken Paprika with dumplings its good to have potatoes and beans with it, but you can also have salad if you prefer. This is a recipe you can use your imagination with and use different side serves with it.

Yogurt Chicken Paprika Ingredients

3 lb broiler fryer chicken, cut up
1 1/3 cup thinly sliced onion
8 oz carton plain yoghurt
1 chicken bouillon cube
3 Tbs margarine
1 Tbs paprika
1 cup hot water
1/4 tsp pepper
1 Tbs cornstarch
1 Tbs cold water
1 tsp salt

Yogurt Chicken Paprika Method

In a skillet or wok saute onion in margarine until golden and then blend in paprika. Add the chicken and brown well then dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and add to the skillet with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 45 minutes until chicken is very tender. The next thing to do is dissolve the cornstarch in cold water and then blend into the yoghurt. Stir into the skillet with the chicken. Heat the chicken mixture in the skillet through. Serve the Yoghurt Chicken Paprika with dumplings or noodles.

Enjoy your freshly made Yogurt Chicken Paprika!
