SAI BHAJI

 

Ingredients

2 bunches of spinach
1 khatta
1 big onion
1 big potato
1 brinjal
2 tomatoes
6 green chillies
1 tsp cummin seeds
1" ginger
1 tsp red chilli powder
4 tbsp gram dal
1 1/2 glass water
6 tbsp oil
4 pinch of turmeric

Procedure

1.

Separate the spinach, khatta leaves. Chop it finely

2.

Chop the onions, potatoes, brinjal into small pieces and set aside

3.

Soak gram dal for 10 minutes

4.

Heat oil in pressure cooker, put in cummin seeds, green chillies, ginger and fry for about a minute

5. Add chopped onions, potatoes, brinjal
6. Fry all vegetables, till the oil comes out
7. Now put the chopped spinach and khatta leaves, tomatoes, dry masalas, dal, salt, green chillies
