TURI BHAJI

 

Ingredients
1 kg turi
2 onions
2 tomatoes
2 green chillies (finely chopped)
1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
4 tbsp oil
salt to taste

Procedure

1.

Chop turi, onion, tomatoes, green chillies

2.

Heat oil in pan, fry onions and chillies till onion turns golden in colour.

3.

Add turi, salt and turmeric powder

4.

Cook on a low flame till water starts frying

5. Add tomatoes and rest of powdered masala
6. Cook on a low flame till oil separates and tomatoes become tender
7. Keep stirring
8. Pressure cook for 2 to 3 minutes
9. Take a churner and mix well
